Hello all,
So I have been trying to come up with a way to generate an income but still have the flexibility to stay home with my kids. I have finally decided to start selling Pampered Chef products. It will allow for time with the kids and hubby while bringing in a modest income! Yeah me!
Anyway, if you are reading this and thinking "Hmmm, I love the Pampered Chef products" please let me know. I will be happy to send out catalogs or anything else you might need to help order stuff.
Even though I am in Vegas, I can still help people host catalog parties from out of state, so keep that in mind.
I am really excited about this opportunity and will settle for nothing but the best!
Love to all of you, and hope your 2007 is going along well!

New Year
Hello all,
Well 2007 has begun, and my craziness has yet to subside. I recently lost my Grandfather after a long battle with diseases and infections during the last year. I will miss him greatly, but know that he is finally released from the pain and suffering he had endured for so long. My prayers go out to his wife, Bev. She gave so much of herself to make sure he was taken care of.
There will be a memorial service soon for my Grandfather in Seattle. I plan to attend whenever it is. I am doing much better today than yesterday when I found out, but am still grieving. I may not be as quick to return phone calls or e-mails over the next week or so.
Other than that unhappy news, I am feeling confident about this year. I plan on going back to work somewhere, probably waitressing or bartending. Hopefully this will help bring in the extra income we need right now until I can close a deal or two.
Mike began his new shift at the prison. He now works 5PM to 5AM M-Th (every other week he has Thurs off and starts his Mon at 9PM). It's going to be a great schedule for us and Mike is running the shift with a Lt. He is finding the work interesting and rewarding.
Andrew is still excelling at school. He astounds me everyday with being able to sound out words and spell words by how they sound! It's truly amazing.
Siobhan continues to talk with greater clarity. She is fully potty trained and, last night, kept her Pull-Up dry through the night! Big day!
Megan is a walking machine! She runs sometimes to catch her siblings as they race around the house. She managed to get almost all the way out of her crib, so she is in the Pack N Play until we can find a viable fix.
We are all healthy, happy and we love each other deeply, so you can't get much better than that! Okay, enough of the sap. Here's hoping all of you have a spectacular year!
Love,
Shane

Happy Holidays
Hello all,
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holiday. I have been stressed out over the last couple weeks, and have figured out that I need to enjoy this time, rather than wait for it to be over. My blessings include my family, friends, health, home and being able to see another day.
Hope you all find your everyday blessings and hold them close!

Hello out there!
Okay, I am new to this whole blog thing, so I will make this entry brief. Today has been a total mom day. I was woken up by my two oldest children crawling into bed with me. After I was fully awake, we defrosted and at the leftover pancakes from this weekend. We then cleaned up the living room, rested and watched "Cars".
When Mike came home I made cookies with Andrew and Siobhan which we will finish tomorrow as the dough must cool before being cut into fun shapes. Megan has been wandering around the house trying to put everything in her mouth that looks like it might fit or be tasty.
At some point I will be able to take a shower, but being that it is already 5:17pm, I don't hold out much hope. Dinner will be Hamburgers.
Ahh, motherhood. Who knew it was this glamorous!?
Anyway, hope all of you were able to shower today and eat a normal meal here and there! If you were, I am insanely jealous!
Gotta go be Mom again!
